AIA Ohio and the Ohio Valley Region learned over the past several weeks of honors extended to several of our members.  These recognitions were officially announced Friday with the release of AIA Architect.  The members receiving recognition include two members who were elected to the AIA College of Fellows.  This year’s class of 104 members elevated to the College include Jud Kline FAIA of AIA Cleveland and Deb Kunce FAIA of AIA Indianapolis.  You can access the information on this years class of Fellows at 2011 College of Fellows.  Congratulations to Jud and Deb for your well deserved recognition in service to the profession and the AIA.  Deb is currently running for one of the Vice President positions at AIA for 2012.  New fellows will be officially recognized at the AIA Convention in New Orleans.

Also recognized with one of the AIA’s highest honors for non-architects was Kate Brunswick, CAE, Hon AIA who last month was notified of her selection by the AIA Honorary Membership Jury as an Honorary Member of the Institute. You can find the information on her award at  Kate Brunswick, Hon AIA .  Kate has for more than 11 years served AIA Ohio with the highest degree of professionalism, dedication and commitment.  Everyone at AIA Ohio congratulates Kate on this achievement and we thank her for both the energy and passion in which she has served our membership.
