We are seeking applicants for a Senior Urban Designer position at Rothschild Doyno Collaborative. Job
responsibilities and experience requirements are outlined below.

Responsibilities
 -Develop and implement inclusive and creative community engagement strategies.
 -Analyze and synthesize economic, social, and physical data and represent the data graphically to
tell a story.
 -Generate design ideas in collaboration with the client, community, stakeholder group and team
members.
 -Prepare compelling design and presentation drawings. Develop written reports.
 -Manage projects using firm-wide project management systems, and mentor and direct project
teams.
 -Coordinate with consultants to advance the project’s economic, social, and physical design
 -Contribute to architectural design projects and support urban design principles integration firmwide.
Experience:
 -A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
 -5+ years of professional experience in urban design. Experience may include community
engagement, campus planning, comprehensive plan development, residential and mixed-use
site planning, zoning analysis.
 -Architectural registration or American Institute of Certified Planners certification
 -Experience as a design leader in a collaborative environment.
 -Experience as a project manager communicating with clients and project stakeholders.
 -Experience providing mentorship and direction to fellow collaborators.
Requirements
 -Proven design skills.
 -The ability to synthesize information across scales.
 -Hand drawing, digital graphic, and urban design rendering abilities.
 -Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
 -Well organized and able to prioritize tasks and lead teams.
 -Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and In Design, Arc GIS, Excel, Rhino or Revit modeling
