AIA Columbus and the AIA Columbus LGBTQIA+ Alliance invite members and the community to join two special Pride Month events this June in partnership with IIDA and NOMA Columbus.
The month begins with the 2026 Pride Model Exhibit Opening, June 5, 5-7 PM, at the Center for Architecture and Design, celebrating the creativity of local architects and designers. Building on last year’s successful initiative, Columbus-area firms have been invited to create models inspired by the theme Designing a More Inclusive Future. These works explore how design can foster belonging, equity, and welcoming communities. Join us for the opening reception and view the exhibit throughout June at the Center for Architecture and Design. Select models will also appear in the Stonewall Columbus Pride March.
On June 20, 2026, AIA Columbus will once again participate in the Stonewall Columbus Pride March alongside NOMA Columbus and IIDA. Participants will gather that morning at the Center for Architecture and Design before marching together. All members of the LGBTQIA+ community, queer designers, and allies are welcome and encouraged to join.
