The 2025 CRANawards – celebrating the best in residential architecture – took place April 10 with awards given in the following categories:

  • ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR: Southwestern Exposure, drawing dept
  • BATH: Mint Condition, drawing dept
  • KITCHEN: Thriving in Place, drawing dept
  • MULTI-UNIT HOUSING: Griffon Apartments, New Republic Architecture
  • NEW CUSTOM HOME MODERN: In a Modern Manor, drawing dept
  • NEW CUSTOM HOME TRADITIONAL: Quintessential Lakeside Retreat, RWA Architects
  • OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT: Lakota Entry, drawing dept
  • STUDENT: Station House, Michael Mumford and Sydney Luebbe, University of Cincinnati

Upcoming programs include Early Professionals tour UC’s new sports facility (5/7), Women in Architecture and Urban Design joint walking tour of Mariemont (5/8), CRAN Lunch & Learn Understanding Residential Tax Abatements and Assessments (5/9), and Architecture Matters Panel on residential design (5/20).

Dates for 2025 chapter special events have been finalized: Golf Scramble (June 26), Sporting Clays (October 23), and Cincinnati Design Awards (November 7).
