COTE hosts a passive house tour on October 7.

Upcoming CRAN programs include a presentation on Cincinnati’s new ADU ordinance on October 8, a lecture on Julia Morgan with The Mercantile Library on October 10, and residential lighting trends on November 12.

Early Professionals is hosting a joint volunteer event and social with Ohio Valley NOMA, ULI Cincinnati, NAIOP Cincinnati, and OEDA at Freestore Foodbank on November 15.

Chapter elections will be October 30. 

The final special events of the year are sporting clays October 24 and Cincinnati Design Awards November 8.

VISION class 14 starts in October with participants from A.N. Architects, Inc, BHDP Architecture, BSI Engineering, Burgess & Niple, Champlin Architecture, Hixson, Inc, Moody Nolan, MSA Design, PIVOTstudio, and SHP.

  

Small Firm Exchange (SFx) Update

The National Small Firm Exchange is preparing resources on topics related to small firm practice, including starting a firm, small firms and artificial intelligence, and small firms and the Framework for Design Excellence. Their latest resource is on managing firm financials.

The Ohio Small Firm Exchange (SFx) winds down 2024 with a coffee chat on October 17 and a program on EDGE certification on November 19. In 2025, Ohio SFx will be collaborating with local Ohio chapters to schedule programs targeting relevant topics.
