APPPROVED FOR 3 LEARNING UNITS. REGISTER TODAY

You’ve heard the saying, “If you’re not at the table, you’ll be on the menu!”

AIA Ohio has planned a State Grassroots Presentation that will focus on ways architects can make sure they are at the legislative table, not on the menu.  Join AIA Ohio members and architect leaders in Columbus, Ohio, on May 25 for the AIA Ohio State Grassroots Presentation, “Architect as Citizen…Architect as Advocate.”  Attendees will hear from Senator Chris Widener, FAIA, who will discuss the Architect’s role in communicating with elected officials, and the most effective ways architects can get involved in the legislative process.  Several statewide candidates for elected office have been invited to participate as well.  In the afternoon, participants will learn how to put on a Candidate Forum or Debate in your local component (or at your firm!) and have it be meaningful to architects.

Plan now to participate.  It’s easy to register, just click here.  The cost is only $15 per person.  Register by Friday, May 18 to ensure your place at the table!
