October programs include two cross‑disciplinary learning opportunities and a statewide SFx session. On 10/22, AIA Ohio’s Small Firm Exchange (SFx) will host the third session in its Communicating the Value of Architects series, featuring AIA Toledo’s Open Doors Initiative and a discussion on how public awareness strategies can help small firms strengthen client interactions and position architects as trusted advisors from the start of a project. Also on 10/22, Architects and Landscape Architects will come together for an evening program at the Toledo Zoo to explore the campus’s historic WPA‑era buildings and recent preservation work. To round out the month, our Allied Partners will host an in‑person Lunch & Learn with Interface on the Common Materials Framework on 10/27.
