AIA Ohio Contracts Task Force
AIA Ohio has set up a task force to work on ways to better educate clients on the benefits of qualifications based selection (QBS), and why requiring firms to agree to amended contract documents prior to selecting an architect is detrimental to the entire design process. A primary focus at this time is the development of one-page explanations of QBS stories or experiences that help explain why it is so important to follow the qualifications based selection process as outlined in Ohio law.
