In June, AIA Columbus and NAIOP Central Ohio hosted a reception to welcome the newest chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects, NOMA Columbus. Attendees enjoyed an evening of networking with colleagues in the design and real estate industry as well as learning more about NOMA Columbus. Saundra Little, FAIA, represented NOMA National and presented NOMA Columbus officers with the chapter’s charter. The evening concluded with a panel consisting of Latifah Alagah, Assoc. AIA, Yanitza Brongers-Marrero, FAIA, and Jonathan Moody, AIA, who discussed diversity in the design industry and the future of architecture in Columbus.
