AIA Ohio is about to undertake a bold and exciting initiative as part of a nationwide program: the AIA 150. This program is a grassroots effort wherein architects will build awareness for a better tomorrow while celebrating the Institute’s 150 years of service to our communities.
In 2006 and 2007, Architects across the country will use their unique skills and work in a collaborative manner to make a difference in their communities for the future.
As AIA Components across the country considers initiating unique programs, the members of AIA Ohio have come together to focus on the industry’s most pressing issue for the future of Ohio: sustainable design in the built environment.
Ohio’s 2020 Vision… AIA Ohio Architects will lead and collaboratively create a sustainable design initiative for the built environment in Ohio. We will set initiatives in place in 2006 and 2007 that will position Ohio as the leader in sustainable design and construction by the year 2020.
