Roush Appointed OSFC Legislative Liaison

Erik Roush has been named as chief of external and legislative affairs for the Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC). He replaces Charles Brading, who retired from the commission earlier this year.

In addition to his role as legislative liaison, Roush will serve as a policy adviser to the director. He will also lead the agency’s outreach to other state agencies and a variety of stakeholders, including educational organizations.

Roush, a doctoral candidate at Ohio State University’s School of Educational Policy and Leadership, joins the commission after having served both as policy adviser on education to Gov. Ted Strickland and as finance director for the Senate Democratic Caucus. Roush holds a master’s in public administration and a bachelor’s in political science, both from Ohio University.
